What to do if Child Safety contacts me regarding suspected Child Abuse or Neglect

  1. Be aware that EVERYTHING you tell Child Safety will be recorded and will form part of their assessment. evidence
  2. Evidence gathered can also be used against you or others in criminal proceedings.judge
  3. REMEMBER: You do not have to answer any of their questions. Under the Child Protection Act (CPA) there is no obligation to do so. cso
